Dave: What's going on, my friends, this is Dave Sharpe Welcome to Wake Up Legendary we have yet another exciting guest all the way from India currently living in Australia, please everyone on this beautiful Monday morning, help me welcome Yamini what's going on Yamini?
Yamini: Hi Dave, how are you, thank you so much for having me here.
Dave: Oh, you're very welcome. You're very welcome. Well, we're excited to hear from you and talk about marketing with you. So tell us a little bit about how you got started, you know what led you to Legendary, what have you learned along the process give us a little bit of just kind of who you are in a nutshell.
Yamini: Okay, so basically as you're told I'm from India and I am a student here in Melbourne, Australia. And, like I lost my job during COVID, in 2020, and since March, like, I didn't have any job I was doing like random jobs like food delivery and the services. So, it was like, I was always finding a way, like, if I say like way back when I was 17 I lost my father. So since then, I have been trying to find a way to do business. My father was a businessman so that came from him. So, like, then when I lost my job, I felt like noticing it was not safe to do nine to five at all. So I had to do something else. And that Job didn't start for nine months. And I was just doing random things and I was trolling TikTok, and then I found some was doing this course. And then I thought, okay, let's give it a go. So when I started this course I was like, because I'm, I have a marketing background I did MLM, so I was like, Okay, let's give it a go and when I started learning, I understood the concept and it was like blowing my mind. Oh my god, how is it that it can be to start a business, like, then from there on my journey started in January, and since then, I'm making good money and learning as well. And yes, this course really helped me a lot. I really wanted to thank you personally, I was so excited, really, thank you so much. Thank you so much for making this opportunity for our students, because due to working right. We cannot even make like more than 2000 in a month. So, this opportunity is making your ID dreams come true.
Dave: Wow. No, that's great. Thank you for saying that. Are you now making enough to go full time? Are you making enough from your own good business to be able to provide for your life, full time?
Yamini: When I started this business, I was doing a pizza delivery to be honest, and, like, like one month, we didn't like it. When I started this journey I will take that job, and within one month I left that job because I started seeing results from here. So, if I say this month like before 10th of this month, I was already up above 10k. So I was like, I don't want to go back to that job, so of course I do this business, like full time now.
Dave: I don't like nice people and I want to just give a disclosure to everybody. The average person who starts any business online makes no money at all. The average person who buys any course makes no money at all. And the reason why that is is because usually they don't do anything with it. And sometimes it's, you know, just the law of averages is not everybody's going to be successful with something but I asked you that because, you know, you've got a lot of odds against you, you know, you're, you're, you're primarily marketing to I would think in English speaking as their first language. Probably most, a lot of people in the UK in America. And, and I would assume, English is English your first language?
Yamini: No it's not. I have Punjabi and Hindi.
Dave: You're 22 years old, right 26 You're currently where you did you say you're in college. I guess I'm fighting right now. Good. You were a pizza delivery person when you started. Right. Okay, you're a female. Also, you can make it even more. I mean, I'm a male I don't know what it's like to be female, but I can only imagine that, you know, the harassment, the, you know guys think they can talk to women any kind of way they want. So, you know, that's just the nature of so many men, unfortunately. I can only imagine, I know what it's I know how women are treated in pert in real life with guys gawking at them and making comments and stuff like that I can only imagine when guys get a little internet courage, they probably say all kinds of crazy stuff to women online, and act weird and creepy and stuff like that so you're, you're a woman. You're, you're from India you're living in, in a country that you didn't grow up in. Is that right, you don't have any family around you right now. No. Okay, so here's why I'm saying all of this is because for those of you who are listening, who are thinking, and who have all of these reasons why you can't be successful. Well sometimes when we compare ourselves to other people we put all of our odds in all of the things that are stacked against us and all of our problems on the table, and then the person next to us, does the same thing and then the person so if we were all just pretend we were all sitting at a round table, and we all put all of our odds and problems and challenges on the table that we thought were so bad when, when we see what other people are dealing with a lot of times we take our problems back and we say, who I don't want your problems, I'll take my problems. And so everybody who's listening. If you're not inspired by that, if you're not inspired by the fact that, you know Yamini has all of these different obstacles that she's overcoming and being successful regardless. And from what I know about you, you're a hustler too, I mean you're, you're, you know you're not afraid to go out there and put yourself out there and create content and create value so talk to us a little bit about your mindset around this, how are you able to, you know, how are you able to do what you're doing, how do you view your business and how are you, how were you able to overcome being new, and get started delivering value and speaking confidently about what you are marketing
Yamini: Based on, first of all, I think that when you're coming to the marketing market with the concept, we must have that knowledge to give to people right before we are coming to, like, any market we should gain full knowledge about that product or anything. When I started learning, I felt like it's so good. And it was easy to understand the concept. And I like the way you're teaching, right, so that's why I studied, like before coming to market I researched poorly about this one. So then I started in the business so that, like, and another thing, while I was living Pisa, my hands in the morning I literally saw, and that was my motivation like no avenue, like you have to just do something else, like when you get my, you should have a passive income that you can spend time with your family. Right now, I'm making a really good income. I don't know, like people who are beginners, whether they make or not, but I am making enough income that I can go back with my family to India. But still, like, I want to grow more in this business, and this is something I have in mind. My target is, like I make my target like I have to achieve this goal and this much of time, like, whether it's take up followers, whether it's income, whether anything so maybe that mindset, like because I really want passive income that mindset is taking me to the level where I want to load income, I just work work work every day, every day I walked into a total electron 11am here so just I'm putting in work, and plans are coming by cells so I just see my messages are popping off Commission's here there, but I really don't care about that I just book and do trainings every day that maybe when I have knowledge, when people come to the ask any question I have right away answered. It does the thing. Taking me forward. Yeah because I found that. Whenever someone's talking to me I was like, how am I answering each and every question. Like, that way I feel okay so the knowledge I'm gaining from the code whenever people ask me anything I'm ready to answer so that is the one reason I'm doing quickly.
Dave: Wow, that's a really great answer and it's really insightful. You know, because I think I think some, I think so many of us when we start out, we don't give ourselves enough credit to actually answer questions and think that we have enough value and knowledge to actually teach and actually answer people's questions and to actually coach people, but if you can't do that then, then, what value are you to other people. There's a couple of different ways, there's basically two ways that people can be of value to people. The first way is to have a product. I'm selling a product I have sunglasses, and so I have this product and I can sell it to you for a good price, and I'm, I'm a value to you say I have watches, I'm selling watches, and I can, I can give you a watch that you want at a price that you want, whatever product any kind of product. The second way that I can be a value to somebody, is I have knowledge, knowledge that can help them get what they want. So, if I don't have a product, if I'm not selling a product. Okay. The other way that I am of sort of value to people I'm talking about in business everybody, not in personal relationships, but in business, this, the only other way that I can really be a value to somebody, is to have knowledge, that, that I can coach, or I can point them in the right direction or I can answer their questions, so that if we think about it, just like you just said in those simple terms, then I need to, I have to. Even if I'm a beginner, I have to step into a mindset to where I'm ready to answer people's questions. And if I don't know the answer. So let me ask you this. What if you what if somebody asks you something and you don't have experience with it or you don't know the answer to it. How do you respond to them while still being confident?
Yamini: Okay, so I usually say them. Okay, so it's been a while, like if someone asked like question which we do in the beginning it's been five months in the business so if they ask any question that I'm not aware of it, then I just tell them like, Okay, that's a really good question that I've never heard of. Okay, give me some time, I'll get back to you as soon as possible, because whenever someone joins business through me, I stay in touch. To be honest, I just stay in touch so that I can add value into their life, like, I don't want to sell something, which I don't know about or like about, and I just keep telling them to keep bringing, bring the question so that I can learn more. So I just take time from them and then think about that and give them the right answer. I don't give them the wrong answer like, I just don't want to prove myself right that I know everything. But anyway, we are human beings that don't like everything right, I just take time, and then I just research about it and tell them how we can solve that.
Dave: Yeah, I love that, I mean it's so you're making it you make it so simple and it's, it's really.
The other thing that I want to point out. The other thing that I want to point out is that so many of us come online, we want to start an online business and we just want to have passive income. Right. But the truth is that passive income doesn't really exist, the only way to, now I've got a couple of passive income sources, I've got some investments in the stock market. I've got some investments in real estate, but the truth is that my most passive investment is probably stocks that I own, because I don't really do anything with those, you know, I have to make a decision if I want to sell at some point. But that's, there's not really much that I have to do now real estate. There's tenants, there's, there's ongoing some people would call real estate passive rental properties that my wife and I own, it's not passive. It's passive some of the time, but you got to buy the house, you got to fix the house, you got to get it rented or sold ready, you've got to find tenants, you've got to then do maintenance, you've got to then they move out. It's passive probably 75% of the time, if you find good tenants right now. Now I don't consider my online business a passive income stream. I don't. It's my active income stream, because it's an active income stream, right, because look what I'm doing right now. This is something that I'm doing for our business here, and I do it every single day of the week. I also write copy, I lead a team of 80 plus people on calls and make tough decisions and build, you know build webinars and deliver training and all this kind of stuff. It's an active income stream, and in what you just mentioned about having relationships with your customers, people that buy through your, your links, is if you go into it with that mentality and this is for all of you who are new, so you have the right expectations about what Active and Passive income is, you just said something really key. I like to keep in touch, I like to have, basically what you said was I like to have a relationship with my customer. That's a big deal. I think that's a lot of things that you may need that a lot of people don't want to do, or they just don't know that it's a good idea to do it because they want passive income, but they're not looking for it. They're not looking for passive income in the right place. Our business that we build and run every day that creates cash flow for us is active income, and then we can take the money that we earn, and we can invest that into stocks or crypto or real estate, which can create passive income. Does that make sense to you, and, and what comes up for you as I'm as I'm talking about this difference between active and passive?
Yamini: With the right thing because this was obviously we had fluctuations, right, and that's totally I totally agree with you, like using right like yes, this is the activity going on and we can earn money and then invest, and then that is our passive income. You don't even have to work for this like you said, like you're working every day. And we are not working for you.
Dave: I think a lot of people come into this business thinking well I'm going to get out of my job, like you, I'm going to I'm going to get out of my pizza delivery job, and I'm going to I'm going to come into this I'm going to spend a little bit of money. I'm going to set a couple of things up and it's just going to run on autopilot for me. Right. And, and anybody in everybody who has that mindset, or that expectation going into this always fails, that is a what, let me just speak directly to everybody who's listening, that is 100% of the time a recipe for you to fail, if that is your expectation, one, like just you heard it here first. Now, can you, and you're a great example of what can happen. You went from delivering pizzas, your hands were sore, making probably very little money to now making more money than you've ever made before working from the comfort of your home, your hands no longer hurt, the quality of your life is much better, but you're still working every day. Right. Yes. I'm working for it, and you're working a lot, I would assume you're working many hours throughout the day right?
Yamini: I'm happy to do this with happiness. This is making me happy. Before the work I was doing, it was not like there was a nice night every single night. Now I'm so happy whatever I'm doing, even if I'm not sleeping, that makes me happy. I watch it every day. I sleep into it and that makes me happy. So, I know that, as long as it makes me happy.
Dave: Yeah and I think that's important, because it's like, it's like, as long as we have the right expectations and we know what we're getting into, then we, we have a we have a chance to really succeed, you know, and so that's why I think it's important for us to really look at the difference between active and passive income so we have the right expectations when we go into building any business, this one especially.
Yamini: And you made a great point. I went from being sad every minute of every day working delivering pizzas to now I'm happy it's off. I'm working hard, but I'm happy every day. Yeah.
And like every single day, to be honest, I think like, oh my god what I did right this year, like, I thank you every day to realize, because I literally saved that much. Like last year, if I say my earning was half, then the only guy on in four months. It wasn't easy. They think young people are earning 10k a month and we can do the same thing. It wasn't easy. I worked hard for this one, but still, like, that helped me a lot, like, yeah, it changed my life.
Dave: That's amazing. That's amazing. So you're doing all of this with free traffic,
Yamini: 100% free traffic. I didn't run out.
Dave: Well, that's incredible. So, what you are mostly using TikTok is that primarily you are also getting, Like what would you how would you break down the percentage of where your traffic is coming from, like, TikTok YouTube etc.
Yamini: Okay, so my main platform is TikTok, so from TikTok I'm taking to YouTube, and then I use Facebook and I personally like Facebook, because marketing on Facebook is way easier than on TikTok, because in the groups, people are already those who are interested in business and on TikTok, we have to like figure out who is actually a business person, right. So, if I can say like 50% of traffic comes from TikTok and then 40 from Facebook and then 10 from YouTube because I don't use that when it was still YouTube is bringing is not my sales for my software's like get your spot and Clickfunnels I made videos about all of them, and that's bringing me sales, which I really like, that's the best kind of passive income still everyday I get sales for that because of my that video, and Facebook, I use a tool that is totally free, we generate trainings, but that will help us to raise to the more properly. So, did you say you're using Facebook? So it's an email, messenger Pro. So, that is a tool to work on Facebook, where we can generate leads, without spending money on ads. So, we can actually target our audience, like we can know actually, these people are in this group interested in the business, and then we can contact them and we can help them.
Dave: Well, I mean, you know, and also just, you know, just for anybody who's listening common sense would also tell you that Facebook, you can type in, and I break this down in the blueprints, under the Facebook marketing section, you know, you can also type in affiliate marketing or network marketing or make money online, just write into the search bar and it will bring up tons of different groups with 10’s of 1000’s of people that you can go in and you can add value into those groups by answering questions and by, you know, making posts that are valuable to people and, you know, for me, you know, the strategy on Facebook to where everybody just, you know, private messages everybody who makes a post in a group and tries to sell them something their messenger is sort of a sort of a, you know, it's sort of like a kind of a spammy way to market online. If you're providing some sort of value like answering questions, it's amazing. Like, I think a lot of people underestimate how many friend requests and how attractive it is. How many people would want to follow you and be your friends and then all of a sudden they're seeing your content and on the Facebook timeline. If you just come in and leave a valuable comment on a post, like, just leave a valuable comment, it's just amazing because if you look at every post in most Facebook groups they're all shitty comments, they're all just, you know, they're all like somebody post a question and then everybody's like following her yeah I wonder about this too or whatever, or there are people just, there's no comments. And if you actually just come on to a post and just leave a valuable comment that takes like 45 seconds for you to type out, I'd be absolutely amazed by how many people would then, you know, go over to your profile and friend requests you and then become kind of like a fan of yours from one single comment.
Yamini: This is how I like people to get to know me on Facebook. And, like I was when I was doing like whenever there is no I was just like I have so many groups of people who are asking questions in the group, but I was the first person to text and reply that come in. So if they feel like taking help from me, they come and pick up from me. So yeah, I do, like many things like hello and these things, I just helped them out. So, we can actually give them services right for whatever we know. Yeah, that will really help me a lot so I just connect with people from Facebook, I like Facebook more than TikTok, to be honest, I noticed. I noticed it was a really quick copy. If you need a very good customer that's on Facebook.
Dave: Well, that's interesting. That's interesting. Well I think having a combination of two I mean, like, if we're if we're honest, how long does it take to record a TikTok video if you're not going to be a total perfectionist I mean, you know, it doesn't take that long, you know, I mean if you want to sit there and reverted 1000 times then yeah it'll take all day, but I mean, if you, you know, most of the time, most videos that do really well for people are ones that they just recorded quickly and threw up there, you know what I mean, like we're the one that you spend 1000 hours trying to edit it.
Yamini: Right, exactly, that did happen. Late in the beginning when I throw a video without even thinking I get like tons of views. And when I make a video like, Okay, I like this video, when I post that video that doesn't have a view either What if people don't like my choice, or what we don't matter.
Dave: Yeah, I don't know why but yeah, pretty thing that I've always done that I was like, Oh, this is a masterpiece, I mean people are gonna love this was like crickets you know like dead tumbleweeds like nobody, nobody even acknowledged it it was it was as if it didn't exist right and then I do something that I just pull out of my ass. You know it's like takes me 15 You know, sales letters that I've written videos that I've shot things that I've just done sort of off the cuff from the heart from the top of my head, just did, you know, I put them out there and it's like freakin blow up and explode and it's just, it's weird. So, back to my point, you can put up a couple of TikToks, two, three, TikTok videos and a half an hour, you know, every day, and then what are you going to do with the rest of your day it's like, you know, sure you can record a YouTube video, get it up but I mean most people are not posting a YouTube video every day, right, you're probably posting a video once or twice a week, am I right.
Yamini: So, I do it.
Dave: You do it every day?
Yamini: I do every day, because, like I, my, this is my full time job right now. I tell people as well. If you want to establish your business and on TikTok, if you post five to six times every day, five to six videos every day. Like there's no chance to fail. Seriously,
Dave: Everybody listen closely to what just happened. So I'm like, you know, three, three TikTok videos a day, and you know most people do one to two YouTube videos a week if that and she's like, I do a video every day. I do six on TikTok, and I do one on YouTube and I'm on Facebook all day long. This is my full time job . I treat this like my full time job. I'm the number one employee inside of my business. I'm the number one employee inside of my business. So why, why am I wait making, you know more in half of in two months that I made the entire year delivering pizzas, because no Dave I'm not uploading three videos per day on TikTok I'm doing six no Dave I'm not I'm not uploading one to two videos per week on YouTube, I'm uploading a video a day. No Dave I'm not, you know, just focusing on one platform I'm doing all that and I'm over on Facebook, generating leads, having conversations delivering value.
Yamini: I do a lot of work every day, that's bringing evidence, and that's making me happy, like on TikTok I really post every, if I'm not well. Still I post every day. I'm out, I'm on trade. I come home at night, I post like this, I feel like this is my work and I have to do it every day. I skipped one day. I'll be behind for one day of my business. So, I do this every day and I send 40 to 50 requests to new people every day. I post YouTube videos one to two times a week because I don't know why I'm listening to YouTube videos, that's where I like what is working for me. And the Twitter archive account as well so I post, tweet, tweet, like, two to three people there, I get so many customers from Twitter as well. Oh, and then many platforms, other platforms so, like, a whole new level, talking.
Dave: I don't know if it's because, like, the work ethic, it's it's like, it's like, seems like it's different with people who are like not American, honestly, like for some reason, like, you know, I've met a lot of people from India, for example, who just worked their ass off, who just who just worked circles around people for and I don't know why that is, I don't, I don't. And I'm not trying to say Americans don't work hard. I love American, I'm American, I'm from America. I've been, I've lived here all my life I love America, but it's just like the way in which, like I've had developers and stuff in the past I've had virtual assistants who have been like in the Philippines or who we have some great people who are from at least one, Roxie on our team who's, I believe, from the Philippines she's, she's incredible works her ass off, it's unbelievable. It's just, where did you get the work ethic from, where can you tell us a little bit about how you learned that was something that was shown to you by somebody, is it where is that coming from that drive inside of you?
Yamini: So, I was only 17 When I lost my model, and we were having a really really great business, we were having good money, like, but when we lost our father, he was the only one doing that vision. My brother didn't know anything about that. And I was too young to do that. My sister was married, we had three siblings so, like, from there, like I was studying as well. I was in my first semester, and when I saw my father working. I was always like, since my childhood I want you to be a businesswoman, like, I want to do a business I don't do job at all, but circumstances like we have to anyway start from zero, then, because we need money for business right so I started my journey where I worked two months for free just to learn. Then I started working for a job, I was a teacher, I worked in a MLM company. I did a cleaning job in Melbourne, I did fundraising in Melbourne for two and a half years. That Job was like, we have to stand on streets, and ask people for charity, right, two and a half years when it's summer whenever it's been there. Now I might have noticed that if I'm holding this business today, I have to stand on the street. Oh my god. No, do it, wake up and do it. That's, like, we just knew the perfect thing to do that. And now I believe this is the best thing, and I don't want to lose this man, and I work hard for this every day because of opportunities. You bet, very rare in your life, like I was 17 and now I'm 26. After nine years I bought this opportunity to make money. So nine years of my life I did a job. That's why, like maybe that's the thing, which brings fire in is that okay now we go, something that can actually give us some good life. So we have to do it now.
Dave: But it wasn't like you were successful in previous business ventures right i mean you literally came right out of delivering pizzas right into doing this.
Yamini: No, no, so I was doing mmm like that pyramid scheme for one and a half years. I did that, and even I was earning, like whatever I did, I never lost something I was doing good. I don't know if I leave rain or mine, that comes from your parents. My parents are very supportive. My mom right now, even, like, they're very supportive, every time this poor me whatever I do okay do it, try, you know, there's nothing to lose. Just go and try and rebuild everything, whatever you want. So I did, like everything, even this job, which I did in Melbourne, that was also marketing. I learned so many things from there, which is working for this one. All my last, like when COVID started.
Dave: Vernalisi, made a comment, women have safety nets here like other countries, you have to make it happen or no checks period. And that's kind of an interesting comment. Because in America. For example, you know during COVID, they sent out checks, did they do that in India, did they send out checks to the government, send out checks to people or are they sending out checks to people through COVID?
Yamini: No, not at all like, like here in Australia if I bought it for COVID test it’s free. In India you have to pay for COVID test, everything is poor like the government, like they don't even give you food because maybe I don't know what was the issue but yeah. No, we didn't have any.
Dave: It's interesting, it's interesting. I'm not saying that America or India or whatever is good or bad. I don't want to make this political, but what if, what if, what if you didn't have any fallbacks What if when you lost your job or if you lost your job, you couldn't just go down and file for unemployment in India, if you lose a job. Can you go and file for unemployment, is that something that exists to where they give you money for so long after you lose your job.
Yamini: No.
Dave: All right, so sometimes we don't. And this is one of the things that I've learned, traveling in different countries all over the world is that people live very differently than how we live, for example how you live wherever you're from. So maybe you're from India you come to America, you're like oh my gosh, right, or you go to from America, you go to Somalia, or you go to Ukraine, or you go to, you go to India, you go to Bangladesh and it's like, oh my gosh, like what a completely different way of living. So my question to all of you who have been struggling to find the drive and the motivation that self drive and that self motivation to stay with it. What if you didn't have any safety net. What if you didn't have a safety net? What if, if you did not work to create that you literally starved. There was no unemployment, there were no checks that you could get from the government. There was no family that could help you out, there were no friends that could help you out. But specifically, whatever, whatever sort of benefits that you've gotten from, say for example, the government what if those like for many people in America, if you earned under a certain amount of income through COVID You got a check for, I don't know, I didn't get the check, but it was, it was something like a couple of $1,000 I think maybe it was 1200 I can't remember what it was. But if you earned under a certain amount of money you would get, you got a check and I think they sent those checks out twice. And if you had two people in your household you would get two checks, right or if you had more kids you would get even more money than that. What if that didn't happen? What if that didn't exist? My question to you basically is what if there was no plan B. What if there was no safety net. Right, it's hard to kind of pretend like that. But here's the truth: it's some people's reality. It sounds like it's your reality, like and especially after your father died. You didn't even have a, you didn't even think that was going to take care of you now you are completely and totally all that. That's a difficult place to be in what you did as you stepped up and you said. You said hey, you know, I gotta do it.
Yamini: I mean, I, yeah, I'm going out of India and I'm doing. Yeah that's what I had been saving, I invested that for my education. I came here because I know that Australia is very different from India. I know what are the positive points, and I know I like America as well. That's why you will see so many people migrating from India here. Well it's not with every job, they have government jobs separately they have private jobs, but you have, you don't have any benefit in private jobs and government jobs are not easy to do.
Dave: Yeah. So Brad says people from other countries do so well here in the United States of America because they see and do what has to be done to take advantage of the opportunities. Most of us here in the US take it for granted. Now, I have to agree with that, as an American I have to agree with that, I have a barber who, who, who, who came here from Cuba, he, he, he fled Cuba, went on a boat to Mexico, and then got into America back in 2015 I don't know the full story I, or all the kind of details I just know we came up into Las Vegas and then somehow got his citizenship, but it just as he's like kind of telling the story. I'm just thinking about what he was talking about like the boat and everything that he wrote in on. And it's like he literally put his life on the line, he literally, and I was reading about a boxer an athlete, the other day who did the same thing like he came over on a boat in New Mexico, and lives in Mexico right now, it's just my question for everybody this morning as we're listening to your mini story and about the things that she's that she's gone through and overcome and our work ethic is success leaves clues, and sometimes even if we, we can't eliminate the plan B, you know, you, you live where you live and we, for me, I'm grateful to live in America. But I think there's a mentality that we can have which is I'm not going to accept help anymore. I'm not going to ask for help anymore. I'm not gonna, I'm not gonna expect anybody else to do anything for me. That doesn't mean I have to you know be so prideful, but I think there is a little bit of riding right there is a little bit of pride in entrepreneurship to where you say, I'm going to, you know, I'm going to go out and, you know, I'm going to create something that, that I'm proud of I'm going to be self made in a sense, right, and that's, that's honestly the path that you're on and I think that that's, I think that that's a noble thing to do and it's clearly working right it's clearly working works, and that's why mindset is 90% of this game, because you can figure stuff out as you go right I mean you can figure it out as you go. You don't have the right mindset. You have to have the right mindset. Well, listen, I, I'm proud of you and super happy for you and it's been really inspiring to talk to you this morning and thank you for sharing your, your authentic story and what you've been through and hopefully everybody's walking away from this episode inspired on this Monday morning, the same way that I am, to not take things for granted, to not take opportunity for granted, to, to eliminate the 15 minutes that we have to throw them out the window and say, You know what I am going to, I'm going to, to, to, I'm going to create something out of thin air, I'm going to, I'm going to I'm going to build a business, with the help and support of my, my family and my friends here in entrepreneurship, but I'm not gonna, I'm not gonna sit around in complain about a life that I'm not doing anything to change, right, I'm gonna stop that, starting today, because what we have to realize and this is the tough truth is that everything that we have, we've manifested that we've tested that right and that and that becomes proven and the thing that I love about this business and having this community is that we have, we get to talk to people from all over the world. Here you are from India living in Australia, you get to give us a perspective about what it's like in a different part of the world to come up with no handouts with no with, with, with no very little way your father passed away. You sure you have family support, but it's probably not obviously not financial now you're supporting your family. Right. It's just a powerful thing for us to be able to see that because it sort of eliminates our excuses so thank you for that this morning.
Yamini: And I just want to say, like everyone life in India and here if you compare it's way harder, right, whatever you have, like, take advantage of that and grow into your life. Right. Right now, if we say, like, if there are a lot of legs, live the current example, like right now, the COVID situation was that bad. Like, they didn't have beds. I lost a few of my family members, right outside of that country like not only in India there are so many other countries like that, where, like, the facilities are not that good but yeah, please take advantage of what you have in people in America, Canada, Australia, you guys are so lucky. And I'm really happy to be here like outside so that I can actually because we all have something special in us, right. So, actually we just need something to bring that sparkle out from us, and you have every opportunity available in your country so take advantage of that and follow them, which is amazing. And you can be making good money. Oh, good.
Dave: Well, thank you so much for just telling your story and doing what you did. Up until this point to be able to come on here and tell that story this morning. You guys can follow you. I'll put her TikTok and YouTube stuff here up as I close out the show, hopefully you'll come back and keep us posted here in a couple of months on how your journeys stay Legendary. All right, and I'll talk to you soon.
Yamini: Thank you so much.
Dave: All right. Bye. All right, well, there it is. It's just amazing. It's amazing what is possible. And it's fun to talk about it, it's cool to talk about it, you know, motivational speeches and stuff like that and and go in and you know go to some event and hear some motivational speaker, you know, get you jumping up and down and, and tell you you can do it, and then it's like, like we tune into a show an episode like this just some random couple of webcams a couple of people sitting in different parts of the world, and somebody is telling their story about basically coming from. Unbelievable odds, and it just, it strikes a chord with me anyways I don't know about you but it strikes a chord with me to make me want to work that much harder today to make me want to have that much more gratitude today to make me want to take things for granted, just a little bit less today to make me want to appreciate the people that I have in my life still if I still have my father or my mother, you know, in my life today, right, because, again, as I said in the beginning of this episode if we put all of our problems on the table next to lots of different people from lots of different places of the world, and we see what they're dealing with what they're up against the obstacles and the odds that they have to overcome to be successful. A lot of times, we take our problems back and we say, No, I'll take my problems, they aren't as bad as I thought. And so, sometimes, in my hope it is this time this morning. This episode is that for you to give you that motivation, not just to jump up and down and say I can do it I can do it I can do it I can do it but to see it to hear it, to experience it from somebody else whose problems and obstacles may have been and may be more difficult than yours, right, and that's okay, because in a way they were more difficult than mine. Okay. I grew up in America. I grew up in, in the, in the richest country in the world. Right. And a lot of times even somebody who's poor in America is richer than somebody who's, who's living middle class in some of these other countries that are not even remotely as wealthy as America. And so that's why, as Brad said in the comment a few minutes ago. The reason why a lot of times people succeed here in America who come from other countries is because they see the opportunity that sometimes we don't see just blind to it's just right under our nose the whole time. And so my question to you is what opportunity is in front of you that you've just been ignoring, that's just right there it's waiting for you to grab it it's waiting for you to, It's waiting for you to seize it. It's just you just blind to it because it's always been there. It's always been there, so it's kind of just blends in now it's kind of like the couch you don't even notice it in your house, it's just, you expect it to be there every time you come home you sit down, there's not a, oh my god, you know there's a couch there I know some people who are living in dirt huts, it's matter of fact I was down in Mexico before COVID And I was, you know, there was a certain they were living in circular houses we drove to a town there was circular houses with, with all these doors open, and the reason why they had circular houses because they could keep the doors and windows open, so the wind could blow through the house and cool the house down. There was not a single piece of carpet, there wasn't even a concrete slab, it was just dirt inside of the house. And when I come home every day I expect there to be carpet on the floor. I expect there to be some sort of a floor like a wood floor or something. There's wood, there's carpet on top of the wood floor on top of a concrete slab in this house that I'm in right now. I expect that to be there every single time I walk into this house. That's always been there but if you put me inside of a dirt hut in Mexico. I would be so grateful, so I think entrepreneurship is a lot like that. Sometimes there's all this opportunity in front of us, but because we expect something to just happen results to just show up people to just respond to do what we want them to do. We don't keep trying. We don't keep. We don't keep trying different things in different angles because we just expect things to be there, and there's all this opportunity in front of you, and sometimes we just don't see it. So hopefully an episode like this this morning on Monday, gives you a different perspective to realize how much opportunity is sitting in front of us all, be Legendary. We'll see you guys back here tomorrow. Peace.
